Maundy Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday or Passion Thursday, is the Thursday before Easter which commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with the disciples and the initiation of communion. Maundy refers to the ceremony of washing the feet of the poor. This day is called Maundy Thursday because it is the day that Jesus washed the disciples’ feet during the last super. Join your Covenant family on Maundy Thursday, April 18, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Washington campus. This will be a floating service so, come when you can and take communion in honor of what Jesus did for us.
